Reconnect with nature
I would call it a simple meditation technique.
Spending at least 120 minutes a week in nature is associated with good health and wellbeing.
Without this meditation there is a risk of increased anxiety, other mental health disorders, including depression especially in urban areas arises, researches show. It will decrease brooding - engaged in, or showing deep thought about something that makes one sad, angry, or worried. This type of thinking is highly associated with the onset of depression. You just simply relax, so blood level reduces, stress level decreases in this meditative state.
Why in nature?
Aromatic chemicals released from trees boost killer cells in your immune system.
Researchers are saying that nature offers serious health and academic benefits. Experiences in nature: improved attention span, self-discipline, and physical fitness while reducing stress. The body will produce vitamin D. Lower rates of heart disease, osteoporosis, MS, and some cancers. Producing more positive moods by lowering anxiety, stress, depression. Better focus. If you will be moving, there are fewer chances of obesity.
Children with ADHD, who take a 20 - min walk in the park can improve their symptoms similar to using prescription stimulant medication. Even looking at trees or even house plants can lower stress levels, and the more you do it - more it helps.
Exercise for you to apply to your routine:
At least once a week to relax, without any devices, not even a book, relax by observing nature all around you, by having a walk or interacting, by laying down straight on grass.
Consider purchasing plants for your house (there are some fancy pots, which you don’t need to water, let me know how they work).
Next time consider choosing a vacation destination, choose nature, not in a resort.
Consider using a bike more often to get to your destination. In some countries it is possible to take the bike to the bus, or metro.
