Awakening Breath
This is the first one of the powerful breathing techniques which will help you to unblock your energy system.
It is the perfect preparation for "MySpiritWay The Complete Session," which I hope you regularly attend :)
Before you start:
Wind your room.
It's recommended before to prepare your body, by doing some simple stretches.
Relax your mind.
Relax your body.
Set yourself in a meditative sitting position.
Put 100% of commitment into every single inhale and exhale.
Always fully in and fully out.
Every inhalation is deep, and exhalation forceful.
Breath only through the nose.
Benefits:
Open up the energy system and consciousness.
Stimulates all systems in the body.
Develop commitment and willpower.
Trains the mind to become focused.
Clears the mind.
Brings strength and awareness into the whole body.
Strengthens and cures ailments of mind and body.
Oxygenates body and improves blood circulation.
Strengthens and balances the nervous system.
It helps cure depression.
Increases immunity.
Disclaimer:
This technique is a very powerful practice it's not recommended for cardiac patients and pregnant women. Asthmatics or people suffering from respiratory problems are recommended if they feel discomfort. If you suffer from any disease before you start, seek medical advice. Don't practice while you are driving or in the swimming pool.
How to do it:
Close your eyes.
Sit in the proper sitting position. When you decide to use the chair. Sit on the edge of the chair, feet well connected to the ground, make sure you don't use back support as you might find yourself hinging in one direction. Or sitting on the floor, in any meditative sitting position (sitting on the knees, Burmese, half-lotus, full-lotus).
Inhale deeply.
With the inhalation, we are going to bring our arms up with palms open and we are going to take a big smile.
We exhale strongly - with the power of our belly, to push all the air out. With the exhalation, we change our hands into fists, bring our arms down, and tense our facial muscles.
After every single round, put your hand on your legs, relax and observe your body sensations.
Most common mistakes:
Incorrect posture. The chest must be expanded, belly slightly in, shoulders same level, head aligned with the straight erected spine, relaxed.
Breathing through the mouth. We breathe through the nose.
Breathing to shallow. We breathe always fully in and always fully out.
There will be a guided counting recording - three rounds each time 20 powerful inhales and 20 powerful exhales, which you can use to help you to keep proper rhythm.
You can practice every day, the best time is before intensive physical effort or when you will feel "low energy".
